Louisiana must issue birth certificate to men who adopted baby boy, federal court rules

The Times-Picayune: “A federal appeals court Thursday ordered the state to issue a birth certificate to two men who adopted a Louisiana-born baby boy in 2006 only to have the registrar of vital statistics refuse to give them the document because they were unmarried.”
