Casey Mattox serves as legal counsel with the Alliance Defense Fund at its Washington, D.C., Regional Service Center. Since 2009, he has focused his litigation efforts on cases for the ADF Center for Academic Freedom to protect the rights of Christian students, faculty, and staff at public colleges and universities across the nation. Prior to serving with ADF, Mattox litigated for the Christian Legal Society Center for Law & Religious Freedom, as well as the Rutherford Institute, and clerked for Justice Champ Lyons of the Alabama Supreme Court. Mattox earned his J.D. from Boston College Law School and is a member of the bar in the U.S. Supreme Court; the Seventh, Ninth, and D.C. Circuits; Virginia; the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia; the Northern District of Florida; and the Eastern District of Michigan.
