Summum, the United States Supreme Court held that it is constitutional for the City of Pleasant Grove, Utah to deny a religious group’s request to place a monument in a park even though a donated monument of the Ten Commandments was already on display there. This case note examines the progression of the law before this decision, as well as the changes it made and the possible repercussions to come.
