Poland: Democratic Left Alliance “seeks more rights for gay and unwed couples”

Warsaw Business Journal: “The Democratic Left Alliance (SLD) has said it wants unwed couples – including both heterosexual and homosexual couples – to be able to register to gain similar rights to married couples, allowing them to file tax returns together, leave inheritances to each other and take out joint credits. They will not, however, have the right to adopt children.”

According to another source, the SLD will submit a draft of the proposal to Parliament in June.
