OH: Tougher trafficking law gains support

Columbus Dispatch: “A stand-alone human-trafficking law cleared a hurdle yesterday when the Ohio Prosecutors Association came out in support of legislation being heard by an Ohio Senate committee . . . ‘This offense will be an additional weapon in the battle against human trafficking,’ Murphy said in testimony supporting Senate Bill 235.”

SB 235: To enact sections 2905.31 and 2905.32 of the Revised Code to create the offense of trafficking in persons.
