Gilbert Council calls special meeting on religious ban flap

Arizona Republic: “Gilbert Town Council has called for a special meeting Monday to apparently change a section of its zoning code that prompted an inspector to warn a small church not to conduct religious services in a private home. The 6 p.m. meeting in Council Chambers will come less than two weeks after the Alliance Defense Fund, a Scottsdale-based religious legal organization, cried foul over perceived religious limitations in the zoning code.”
