Afghan Christians detained as politician calls for converts’ execution

Catholic Culture: “Afghan authorities have detained over 20 of the nation’s Christians after Abdul Sattar Khawasi, a deputy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan’s National Assembly, called for the execution of converts to Christianity. Khawasi’s comments followed the broadcast of adult baptisms on Afghan television.”
