Montana: Sponsor says unborn child bill not about abortion

Great Falls Tribune: “Groups opposed to abortion say the bill, sponsored by Rep. Keith Regier, R-Kalispell, is needed to prosecute those who kill an unborn baby, perhaps during a crime against the expectant mother. ‘House Bill 167 does not include legal abortions or infringe on a woman’s right to choose,’ Regier said.”
