Proposition 8, California’s state constitutional marriage protection amendment, cruised to a comfortable 52.24%-47.76% win. The math isn’t all that hard. The fact is, plenty of folks who voted for then-candidate Obama also voted to restore the definition of marriage in deep-Blue California.”
