Iowa: State’s justices to take to the radio airwaves

Des Moines Register: Iowa Supreme Court critic Bob Vander Plaats, who helped lead the campaign to vote out the justices, said he won’t be swayed by court’s public relations efforts. “I am concerned whether they are staying within their constitutional boundaries,” said Vander Plaats, who is president of the Family Leader, which promotes socially conservative policies. “The court has lost credibility with the people of Iowa, and doing ‘Van and Bonnie’ or giving away free pizza, whatever they might do, is not going to change that,” he said.
