Arkansas Family Council: Supreme Court Succumbs to Judicial Tyranny

Arkansas Family Council:  Today, the Arkansas Supreme Court ignored the voice of 57% of the voters—nearly 580,000 people—and ruled in favor of a lower court’s opinion striking down Act One, the Arkansas Adoption and Foster Care Act. This good law prevented unmarried, cohabiting couples from serving as adoptive or foster parents. “This is a classic example of judicial tyranny,” said Family Council Action Committee President Jerry Cox.
