House, Senate pass anti-abortion bills with veto-proof majorities

St. Louis Beacon: Both chambers of the Missouri General Assembly focused on abortion and contraception this morning, with the Senate passing a bill to restrict abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy while the state House approved a measure to put more restrictions on the abortion drug RU-486. The House bill also allows pharmacists to refuse to fill prescriptions for the emergency contraception pill known as “Plan B.”
