The Blog of Legal Times: Rabbi Shmuel Herzfeld, who leads Ohev Shalom – The National Synagogue, had originally sued the city before the election, pointing out that April 26 is one of several days when observant Jews are barred from signing their name or completing an electronic circuit, in effect precluding them from casting a ballot.
