Houston conservative says he’ll sue over Obamacare

MySanAntonio.com: The lawsuit says that the Affordable Care Act was held to be a tax for purposes of the U.S. Constitution, but that it was enacted in violation of a constitutional provision that requires revenue-raising bills to originate in the U.S. House . . . Hotze’s lawsuit also says the federal law violates the Fifth Amendment “by requiring Plaintiffs to transfer their wealth directly to others without a ‘public use,’” and that it “violates federalism by compelling a massive transfer in wealth away from Texans without complying with constitutional requirements.
