Steven Aden at Townhall: Case in point—the news that certain citizens in China, no doubt numbed to the evil of abortion by their country’s one-child policy, have literally begun to place the corpses of aborted children in refrigerators in homes. From there, the bodies are “taken to clinics where they are placed in medical drying microwaves.” In the microwaves, they are dried (cooked), and once their skin has become sufficiently dry it is ground into a powder which is used for quack “home remedies.”

Christian Post: Steve Aden, senior counsel for the Alliance Defense Fund, praised the 5th Circuit’s decision on allowing states such as Texas to withhold taxpayer dollars to organizations that provide abortions. “Taxpayers should not be forced to pay for abortions,” said Aden in a written statement on Tuesday.

“Taxpayers should not be forced to pay for abortions. The court’s decision against the position of Planned Parenthood and the Obama administration again shows that the abortion industry and its political allies are bluffing when they say that states cannot stop taxpayer funding from being used directly or indirectly for abortions. The court has done the right thing in upholding the state’s right to exclude abortionists from the program, especially ones like Planned Parenthood, which is currently under investigation by Congress for fraud.”

Steve Aden at LifeNews: Political campaigns make strange bedfellows. In some cases, they attract seemingly unrelated groups who donate money for a cause they both support. A perfect demonstration of this was seen recently in Anchorage, Alaska, where the push to amend the city’s non-discrimination code to include “sexual orientation” and “transgender identity” brought together Tim Gill, the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, and Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest.

Oregon Faith Report: Alliance Defense Fund (ADF) allied attorneys with the Seattle law firm Ellis, Li & McKinstry, PLLC, represented pharmacists in the lawsuit, Stormans v. Selecky. The Becket Fund for Religious Liberty is co-counsel together with ADF, which has provided financial and legal support for the case. Americans should be able to rely on health care providers who have a conscience,” said ADF Senior Counsel Steven Aden. “The court’s decision is a ringing affirmation that conscience and good health care are not only compatible, but inseparable. Allowing pharmacists to exercise their consciences in this way serves both the patients and the pharmacists. It’s a win-win situation.”

LifeNews.com: ADF Senior Counsel Steven Aden says Americans should not be compelled to pay for other people’s elective abortions. “No one should be forced to violate their conscience by paying for abortions, but that’s precisely what ObamaCare does,” he explained. “ObamaCare requires that employees enrolled in certain health plans pay a separate insurance premium specifically to pay for other people’s elective abortions and offers no opt-out for religious or moral reasons. Such a mandate cannot survive constitutional scrutiny.”

ADF Attorney Steve Aden at Townhall : Last year, Planned Parenthood committed nearly 330,000 abortions, received almost $500,000,000 in taxpayer subsidies, and started a texting campaign so that girls as young as 14 can interact with the abortion provider and receive propaganda from the same. And that was just in the United States. The latest news is that Planned Parenthood is now thinking large, and hopes to bring their existing international abortion services up to par with what they’ve done in the U.S.

ADF Attorney Steven Aden at Townhall Conservative: The basic components of a choice are easiest understood as a selection of one option out of the two or more options that are presented at any given time. Often choices are simple: vanilla or rocky road, for example. But sometimes they are difficult, especially if the choice in view carries life-altering—and perhaps even life-ending—consequences. One thing, however, is for sure—when only one avenue or one side is presented there is no real choice to be made.

In short, this means Plan B pills, which are essentially a double dose of birth control pills and are already as accessible as aspirin for girls who just started driving months ago, will continue to be available for girls who are still but kids in society’s eyes.

They found “deviation in favor of sons” and “evidence of sex selection, most likely at the prenatal stage,” especially among second and third pregnancies if the first child was not born male.

However, as great as this technology is, the ACLU is quite upset over the fact that the app doesn’t appear to be abortion friendly. ADF Attorney Steven Aden at Townhall: Last month, Planned Parenthood celebrated 95 years of providing “essential health care” for women throughout this country. But if you’re like most Americans, there’s a good chance you didn’t know the anniversary took place. For unlike the pro-abortion heydays of the 1970s, 80s, and 90s, Planned Parenthood’s so-called “successes” are frequently being heralded with a whimper rather than a bang. The bottom line is that more and more Americans—especially young Americans—find the killing fields of Planned Parenthood abhorrent.

ADF Attorney Steven Aden at Townhall: History is repeating itself; as World Magazine’s Marvin Olasky observes, a century ago, a rising tide of abortion swept in as industrialization and urbanization caused family breakup and isolation. Churches responded by providing compassionate aid through individual efforts and opening maternity homes, resulting in a dramatic decline in abortion rates in the latter part of the century – rates that stayed relatively low until the “sexual revolution” of the 1960s sent the numbers soaring again, along with rates of sexually transmitted infections and single parenting. Now, again, churches are answering the call to revive what the disordering of sexual ethics has left blighted. [This article also appears at LifeNews]
