Religion Clause Blog: Last year the U.S. Department of Justice filed a civil lawsuit against Kansas resident Angel Dillard under the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act . . . Yesterday AP reported that Dillard has now filed a counterclaim, contending that “she was inspired by God” to send the threatening letter.

Boston Globe: He was sued under the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act. The U.S. Department of Justice, which brought the case against Retta in federal court in Washington, declined to comment on the case as is standard practice in ongoing cases.
