The Gazette: This past week, Live Action released undercover footage showing two Planned Parenthood facilities in Denver encouraging what they think are underage girls to practice BDSM — bondage and discipline, domination and submission, and sadism and masochism. The staffers, in tax-funded counseling sessions, teach the girls how to whip and choke each other, which sex shops in the neighborhood to visit, and which Internet porn sites to seek out for “ideas” … not to mention how to hide all this from parents.
Deseret News: “The administration has forgotten that the Religious Freedom Restoration Act exists, and it’s there to protect the religious freedom of groups, even when they contract with the federal government,” said Erik Stanley, senior legal counsel for the Alliance Defending Freedom in Scottsdale, Arizona. He said his group would represent organizations challenged under the new rules.
Examiner: Erik Stanley, senior legial counsel for Alliance Defending Freedom and head of the Pulpit Initiative, told LifeSiteNews that “the IRS has no business censoring what a pastor preaches from the pulpit” and noted that his organization is “attempting to bring the era of the IRS censorship and intimidation to an end by challenging the Johnson Amendment, which imposes unconstitutional restrictions on clergy speech.”
