Fox News: A Montana school choir is set to perform at a church despite calls from the American Civil Liberties Union and an atheist group to cancel the show, arguing that it violates the separation of church and state.
NBC4i.com: On Wednesday, two Ohio lawmakers introduced a bill that they say would put the freedom back in religion. “God gave us our rights, not the government, not the neighbor, but God. Government is here to protect those rights,” said Representative Bill Patmon. Patmon, a Democrat representative from Cleveland, helped introduce a bill at the Ohio Statehouse protecting expressions of religion.
GOPUSA: “They have now said this space can be used for all forms of expression, religious and non-religious,” said Howard Simon, executive director of the ACLU of Florida. “Otherwise, they’re going to be sued for being discriminatory.”
