2. When someone engages in conduct that is harmful to his or her health, love and compassion counsel avoidance of such conduct. Homosexual behavior is harmful both physically and spiritually.

3. Sex is the concern, because it is a central point of contention in the marriage debate (ie. should our laws countenance homosexual conduct and should our laws countenance sex outside of monogamous heterosexual marriages).

4. The definition of marriage is not merely based on faith. Purely, “secular” arguments also counsel against redefinition of marriage from its traditional definition. Your last point also begs the question as to the definition of family.

If you are so concerned with protecting marriage then do something about divorce. (Which, by the way, is a major heterosexual problem, not homosexual.)

WWJD Show love and compassion; not judgment and hate. By truly getting to know gay people you will find that although you seem to be obsessed with sex, most gay people are not. Sex is a wonderful way to express ones feeling for a loving partner; but only one small way. Sex is such a small part of ones life. Why is this the main concern for so many of you? And consider this: How would you feel if another faith followed your example and managed to manipulate our government officials and construct our laws based on their faith. Then they declared all Christian marriages are void. Your marriage is not legally recognized and has no value. You may even lose you children if you insist upon living in what they believe a sinful lifestyle.

Think what you are doing to another family before you vote to breakup their home and family.
