The gay coalition can call their unions whatever they wish this true but the heart of the conflict is the definitin of marriage. The origin of marriage is an important aspect of the defense of marriage since it was a bond between one man and one woman in the sight of God and man. In the beginning their was Adam and Eve and so on down the line. In most marriages today God is not in them and the government can do whatever it wants, but the places of worship and congregation should not be forced to perform services upon deviants of any kind. Just as the laws of this country would not allow Utah to be accepted as a member of this Republic unless it prohibited the practice of poligamy, The Mormon church did not fold up and join anyother religion they still practice their religion today. They was not forced to add any rite to their free exercise of religion.
