Romania adopts strong civil codes protecting marriage
ADF, ADF-allied attorney provided instrumental legal counsel
to Romanian Parliament
BUCHAREST, Romania — Romanian President Traian Basescu enacted new amendments to the country’s civil codes Friday that provide strong, new protections for marriage. The Alliance Defense Fund together with ADF-allied attorney Peter Costea of the Alliance for Romania’s Families provided legal counsel to Romania’s Parliament, which passed the amendments on June 22.
