Protect Marriage Washington: R-71 vote is extremely close, prayers urged
Protect Marriage Washington has issued the email copied below. Included in the email, but not reproduced below is this map showing the current vote breakdown in the state.
____________
As you may know, the R-71 count is very close. As of 11:11pm this morning, our opponents hold a slight lead of 51.03% – 48.97%. Please do not be discouraged by the liberal media folks prematurely pronouncing victory for the other side, “cuz this race ain’t over ’til it’s over”.
APPROVE COUNTIES ARE GREEN (51.03%)
REJECT COUNTIES ARE YELLOW (48.97%)
I was contacted this morning by two of our most trusted political advisors. Both were anxious to report in with their analysis of the R-71 numbers, and both believe this race will tighten up substantially by the end of today and that we even stand a good chance of taking the lead! Their optimism is based on the recent history of the mail-in-ballot voter trends in Washington State, which nearly always shows a 2 – 4% gain for the conservative candidate or issue on a statewide ballot during the latter counts.
Both recommended we get in touch with our supporters immediately and request fervent prayer for yet another miracle for the REJECT R-71 campaign.
As you may know, we have seen amazing things happen at every critical juncture of this campaign. Please join me today in getting down on our knees to lift up this effort to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Let’s pray the REJECT R-71 effort across the finish line! Every family and church in Washington now and for years to come will benefit from our efforts if we win! Pray that we are in the lead by the end of today’s counting!
Sincerely,
Larry Stickney, Campaign Manager

I’ve been praying and will continue to pray that this will be rejected. I know God can still turn this around. I encourage others to continue to pray that R-71 will be rejected. Don’t stop praying until the results are announced. God hears prayers.
I will pray for us.
