Forsyth County: Costly prayer



Winston-Salem Journal Editorial: “Judge Trevor Sharp of the Middle District of North Carolina found last week that the board’s prayer policy violates the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment of the Constitution, which bars government from establishing a religious practice . . . It’s time for commissioners to cut their losses and end this backward fight . . . The county is represented by the Alliance Defense Fund, a Christian legal organization.”
