ADF will defend Calif. marriage amendment against new lawsuit
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Attorneys with the Alliance Defense Fund will fight a new lawsuit filed by Equality California that seeks to prevent California voters from having any say on marriage. The lawsuit filed Friday attempts to remove California’s proposed marriage amendment from the November ballot even though the amendment has already qualified for inclusion.
“Equality California and its allies are desperate to evade democracy. First, they used the courts to erase the votes of nearly 5 million Californians who voted to protect marriage. Now, they are trying to silence the people’s voice forever,” said ADF Senior Counsel Glen Lavy. “This is just another attempt to force a radical political agenda upon the people of California. The opponents of marriage are willing to use any means necessary to impose their will.”
“ADF and ProtectMarriage will defend the right of the people to participate in democratic process and vote on the constitutional amendment,” Lavy added.
The text of the proposed constitutional amendment is available at www.protectmarriage.com/read.php. The California Secretary of State certified the citizen initiative for the November ballot on June 3 (www.telladf.org/news/story.aspx?cid=4546).

They are wolves in wolves clothing! I’m not an attorney, back in the old west they knew how to take care of the canine wolves. No wonder they wanted special rights, I guess all Americans are not equal?! Forgive me but I haven’t sinned! I know you could use time better then me sending my thoughts…

Your thoughts are a bit confusing to read, at first glance. I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that either you are foreign, or were educated in one of our fine public schools. If the former be true, you have my most humble apologies.
I’m going to go out on another limb and speculate based on your comments that you would fall on the “gay” end of the sexual orientation spectrum. If this is the case, you should be aware that according to the Bible, homosexuality, in fact, IS a sin.

These of this special interest would borrow a page from the book of the card carrying communists, by denying the people the right of free elections. They use the law much as a drunk might use a lamp post; nor for illumination but rather just for support.
Is democracy dead in California?, NO, we just needto impeach some judges for their misconduct, giving in to the Homoterrorists
