New Jersey bill to redefine marriage lacks votes to leave Senate Judiciary Committee

The AP: “State Sen. Paul Sarlo says he will not bring up the bill in the Judiciary Committee he chairs unless there are enough votes to pass it along to the whole Senate.” According to the report, he further indicates there are not currently enough votes.
