ADF attorney summarizes case and stakes in AZ school choice litigation

SCOTUS Blog: “Continuing our series of podcasts on oral argument days, we have two new podcasts below with attorneys who filed briefs on both sides of Arizona Christian School Tuition Organization v. Winn (09-987). At issue in the case is whether (1) a taxpayer has standing to challenge a state tuition tax credit as unconstitutionally violating the separation of church and state; and (2) a state program that gives parents tax credits for tuition at private schools violates the separation of church and state when most parents use the credits to pay for religious schooling.” ADF attorney David Cortman is featured in one of the podcasts. He provides an excellent overview of the litigation and its stakes. The SCOTUS Blog post also links to the case documents.
