Memo to Democrats: Opposition to Marriage Amendments is No Party

FRC Washington Update: Wasserman Schultz said, “I know that the party in each of those states will be combatting [the amendments].” But the Democratic Party in North Carolina has already effectively thrown supporters of homosexual “marriage” under the bus. Fearful that their jobs would be jeopardized by a large turnout of conservative voters in November to support the marriage amendment, Democrats in the legislature insisted it go on the ballot in May instead–when the only other thing on the ballot is the Republican presidential primary.
